Dear Dr. Provost – II

I was going to write you about sexual abuse, professetorial incompetence, and just some really weird religious shit, but I decided to call my parents instead.

My father used to bleed red – Massey Ferguson red.

His father owned the Massey dealership in Cookstown, Ontario, and my Doug.nov.03father was the head of quality control at the Brantford plant that made combines for the world.

He used to come to Kansas as the combine fleet made its way north from Texas.

But, when he was about 50-something, he was deemed expendable, because Massey-Ferguson went bankruprt about 1986. They had become oversized, irresponsive and irrelevant.

Sorta like universities.
