An Italian grandmother is facing charges after two adults and three children fell ill from drinking her hot chocolate, which turned out to have expired in 1990.

The 77-year-old Vicenza woman, her son, two grandchildren and a visiting friend of her grandchildren fell ill while at the grandmother’s home and all five people were hospitalized with vomiting and diarrhea.
